It's my favorite time of the year again. Boys and girls are on their best behavior in hopes for Santa to bring lots of presents on Christmas day. Lights are up everywhere dazzeling in the cool crispt air. Everyone watches the weather waiting for the snow to fall. Don't forget to check out local Christmas events around you! We all just went to the annual Christmas Pardade in the Avenue at White Marsh.
For the past couple of years my family and I have been visiting Busch Gardens, Christmas Town in Williamsburg Virginia. This is the first time Braden has been and his first time seeing all the Christmas lights. Oh boy did he love them! I never thought he'd look so cute in a snow suit. Don't be like us, check the weather before going! I feel like we chose the coldest day to visit.
Not only is Busch Gardens the world's most beautiful theme park, they have one of the largest Christmas light displays in North America containing 10 million + lights across the park. Make your way around the park to enjoy shopping and holiday entertainment that brings the holiday spirit to life. Throughout the night meet your favorite characters and get a bite to eat with lots of festive treats. Plus they have the best hot chocolate around. Take home your own refillable collectors cup from your trip!
England
Begin your night in England. Listen to carolers as they perform in front of Big Ben lit up in golden lights. Christmas wreaths hang above your head dazzled with big red ribbons.
Sit down and relax at the indoor showing of "Scrooge No More!" Watch as the ghosts from Christmas past, present, and future turn Scrooge's life around before it's too late. This was my mom's favorite event of the evening.
Forest Of Fun brings on their holiday twist of Sesame Street. Meet your favorite characters after their holiday show, Elmo's Christmas Wish. Learn how to sing Christmas songs in Spanish. Even win yourself a holiday toy to take home and treasure.
We met Cookie Monster! It's Braden's favorite sesame street character. He even tried to eat him.
Braden played his very first game and won a holiday turtle stuffed animal!

Find beautiful clydesdales at the Highland Stables.
Walk down Polar Pathway. See how they turned Pompei into a winter magicland.
Ireland
Watch as the theatre comes to life with "Gloria!" Performers re-tell the story of the first Christmas for you and your family to enjoy.
For an extra cost dine at Santa's Fireside Feast. Listen to a classic Christmas story from Santa as you enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat meal cooked from the elves on a visit from the North Pole.
France
France will light up your night with dazzling purple and silver lights featuring the 12' days of Christmas. This is my personal favorite country at Busch Gardens. Listen as they play their Christmas music in the beautiful french language. I took French all of high school so, I was right there singing along.
Have you ever seen a preformance on ice? Watch as skaters skate around as they put on "Twas That Night." with special guest, Champion figure skater, Elvis Stojko.
New France
All aboard the Christmas Town Express. Take a trip around the park to see over 2 million lights with multiple different scenes of the holidays.

Get lost in the Traditions Tree Maze (new for this year). Enjoy each stop as your learn about how other countries celebrate their own special holidays and practice your arts and craft skills.
Sit down and enjoy christmas dinner favorites as you watch performers put on their show "Deck The Halls" as they dance and sing for your entertainment. This show was beautifully performed and kept everyone watching until the end.
