At Garden State Discovery Museum you will learn, play, exercise, and pretend under one roof. Around every turn, there was something new to discover. Search for fossils and bones in the Dinosaurium. Cook up a meal for the family at the Silver Diner. Climb through the Tree House to get the best view. There is so much to do so, pack up your family and get ready for an adventure the whole family will enjoy. Here are a few of my family's favorite rooms to share to you. Maybe you will have the same favorites as us!
My favorite room was Under Construction. Grab your hard hat and get ready to build. Help build the two-story house, watch as balls roll down the ball drop, or build your city with blocks. I thought it was interesting that you could build a house to see if it would withstand an earthquake.
Braden's loved Little Discoveries Barnyard, a safe play place for infants to age 4. Swing in the cars, slide, down the slide, or crawl around in the baby pond. I loved the barn. Climb inside. Learn all about the farm and the animals that live there.
Alyssa wanted to build and race cars at Momentum Raceway all day. Grab your legos and build the fastest car around. Climb up the stairs or make your way through the Tree House to race against your opponent. Will your car win? I know mine did!
Christian enjoyed going head to head with Tara in the "Get Fit Sport Court" and Flyers Mini Rink. Get your exercise in or wear out your kids at these mini sports areas. Hit a hockey puck across the rink. Make a basket in the court. Batter up and hit the ball in the batting cage.
My mom loves the beach so it was only predictable that her favorite area would be Down The Shore. Make the beach safe by keeping a lookout in the lifeguard's chair. Fish off the boat. What will you catch? Explore the marine life hidden in the sea.
Children learn best when you make it fun for them. Britt's Creative Crafts were made to get families out and about together. We spend too much time on our phones and watching everything on a TV screen. Go on an adventure with your family. Your babies are only little so long so make the best out of every moment. We sure do!
