Watermelon Rocks!

Warning... These rocks will make you hungry for some delicious watermelon!

Painting rocks is the new trend going on everywhere. People are painting rocks and hiding them as a kindness project. Think about how happy you would be just walking through a park and find a painted rock with an inspirational phrase or beautiful art. Watermelon rocks are perfect if you want to paint something easy and adorable. You can choose to hide them for someone else to find or have cute little watermelons surrounding your garden or how about a paperweight for mom or dad's desk. Materials Needed:

• Rocks

• Acrylic paint

• Paintbrush

• Mod Podge

• Newspaper

How To Paint Rocks:

1. Pick your rock

2. Lay down your newspaper to protect your surfaces

3. Paint your rock white

4. Paint on a red triangle

5. Add a thin line of light green under the red

6. Add another thin line of dark green under the light green

7. Paint on three black circles under the watermelon

8. Paint on legs, antennas, and a face on your little ant

9. Add seeds to your watermelon

10. If you are hiding be sure to add @brittscreativecrafts on the back

11. Add a layer of mod podge

12. Enjoy your new watermelon rock!
